This has to be one of my favorite pieces so far. I stenciled the tiffany blue damask on the outside, and the drawers have a pop of tiffany blue on the inside...how fun!

This headboard has a beautiful shabby finish and the arcs remind me of a Cathedral...maybe a Cathedral by the sea. There is also an elegant fleur-de-lis engraving on the front.

The Nest. recently opened in October 2009 as a small business venture and an outlet for creativity. I enjoy turning "trash into treasures" and making "somethin' outta nothin." The goal of The Nest. is to provide custom "shabby chic" furniture and vintage finds at affordable prices to the public. My finds may be from estate sales, yard sales, antique stores, or even resale shops. This blog was established to display available products, though merchandise is in-store and cannot be purchased online.
